Who Pays for Hospice Care?

Some compensation comes from insurance reimbursement (Medicare, Medi-Cal, senior and private insurance). We are also dependent on revenues from our thrift shops and private donations to continue our quality compassionate services. Some of the covered services can include:

• Hospice physician services
• Home visits by the hospice team
• Medications related to the terminal diagnosis
• Medical equipment and supplies
• Respite, inpatient or crisis care
• Bereavement services
• Physical, speech, and occupational therapy
• Dietary counseling
• Psycho-social and Spiritual Counseling
