We have a unique opportunity for a full-time, benefited position. We are currently seeking a Community Relations & Fund Development Coordinator working closely with the leadership team to assist with planning and implementing fundraising, marketing and community relations activities.
The Community Relations and Fund Development Coordinator will implement marketing strategies, fundraising and marketing and social media campaigns promoting the agency mission and promoting the benefits of Hospice Services among community members and health care providers. This position will represent Hospice Services at various community events and meetings. Effective public speaking and communication skills skills are essential.
Strong computer skills are required as this position will be charged with maintaining a donor database which includes developing report queries, sending donor acknowledgements, and coordinating direct mail campaigns. Also required are excellent organizational skills and attention to details. Event planning, fund raising experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and experience writing copy for promotional materials and media releases is a plus.
A college degree or the equivalent in education and experience is required. The ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen are required. Must have a valid drivers’ license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
