Director of Patient Care Services

Hospice Services of Lake County has an exciting, full-time opportunity for an executive leader to serve on its Administrative Team.  The Director of Patient Care is responsible for overall administration of patient services including coordinating services with the interdisciplinary team of medical director, registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, social workers, ancillary professionals, and nursing administration support staff.  This position oversees the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and practices to ensure regulatory compliance and delivery of compassionate care to patients, caregivers and family members.

As a member of the Administrative Team, the incumbent is involved in overall agency planning, development of programs, and fiscal management.  The Director of Patient Care represents Hospice Services of Lake County to the medical community, other agencies, and the general public.

Qualifications:  This position requires a Registered Nurse license in the state of California. Three years of management experience is required along with the demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative staff.  Excellent verbal and written skills.  Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.  Criminal background check and drug screen will be required upon offer of employment.
