After nearly eight months of construction and remodeling, connecting water and sewer lines, burying utility lines and bringing everything up to code, Hospice Services of Lake County has finally realized a dream of uniting all the clinical, bereavement and administrative staff under one roof. The dream has been years in planning and years in searching for the right property to develop for today’s and future needs.
All costs were paid through the operations budget with help from thrift store profits. Not one penny of donation or fundraising money was used for the purchase nor the extensive remodeling costs to the property.
Hospice thanks its Board of Directors for their enthusiastic support and guidance throughout the entire process. More thanks go to the numerous and generous vendors and business associates who donated or reduced prices on goods and services to help make the dream of a united Hospice come true.
