LAKEPORT
Hospice Services of Lake County is presenting a free Volunteer Orientation and trainings for people who are interested in becoming a volunteer. The orientation is on Thursday, September 19th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Lakeport. Refreshments will be served. Registration is required. Location information will be given at time of registration.
Training for all new volunteers will take place on two successive Saturdays, September 21st and September 28th from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The training program provides the new volunteer with knowledge and tools for visiting patients in hospice care and offering bereavement support to loved ones.
The training will include guest speakers, refreshments and lunch will be served.
